At Modern Pet Living, we want you and your pet to love every purchase. If you're not completely satisfied with your order, we're here to help make the process as simple and stress-free as possible.

30-Day Return Policy

We offer a 30-day return policy, meaning you have 30 days from the date you receive your order to request a return.

To be eligible for a return, your item must:

  • Be unused and in the same condition that you received it.
  • Include all original tags, packaging, and accessories.
  • Be free from signs of wear, damage, or misuse.
  • Be accompanied by your order confirmation or proof of purchase.

How to Start a Return

  • Photos (if the item is damaged, defective, or incorrect)

If your return is approved, we'll provide instructions on how and where to send your package.

Damaged, Defective or Incorrect Items

We carefully inspect every order before it is shipped. However, if your order arrives damaged, defective, or you receive the wrong item, please contact us within 7 days of delivery at support@modernpetliving.store.

To help us resolve the issue quickly, please include:

  • Your order number
  • A description of the issue
  • Clear photographs of the product and its packaging

We'll review your claim promptly and arrange an appropriate solution, which may include a replacement, store credit, or full refund where applicable.


Non-Returnable Items

For hygiene, safety, and product integrity reasons, certain items cannot be returned, including:

  • Personalized or custom-made products
  • Gift cards
  • Clearance or final sale items
  • Perishable goods
  • Hazardous materials, flammable liquids, or gases
  • Personal care or hygiene products once opened or used

If you're unsure whether your item qualifies for a return, please contact our support team before placing your order.


Exchanges

We currently do not offer direct product exchanges.

If you'd like a different item, size, or colour, simply request a return (if eligible) and place a new order once your return has been approved.

This helps ensure you receive your new item as quickly as possible.


Return Shipping

Unless the item is defective, damaged, or we shipped the incorrect product, customers are responsible for return shipping costs.

We recommend using a tracked shipping service, as Modern Pet Living cannot be responsible for returns lost in transit.


European Union Customers

If your order is delivered within the European Union, you have the right to cancel or return your purchase within 14 days of receiving your order, without providing a reason.

Returned items must remain unused, in their original condition, with all packaging, tags, and proof of purchase.


Refunds

Once your returned item has been received and inspected, we'll notify you whether your refund has been approved.

If approved, your refund will be issued to your original payment method within 10 business days.

Please note that your bank or payment provider may require additional time to process and post the refund to your account.

Order Cancellations

Because we begin processing orders quickly, cancellation requests must be submitted as soon as possible after placing your order.

Once an order has entered processing or has been dispatched, we may no longer be able to cancel it.

If your order cannot be cancelled, you're welcome to request a return once it has been delivered, provided it meets our return eligibility requirements.
